2. In the shortcut window type : shutdown -s -t 60 -c "the message you want to display"

4. Name it anything.Now, double click it !Scared ???Nothing happened !Remedy :

Access Your Folders as Drives

Well, this is my EXCLUSIVE !!!
Trick is all About :
You can create Virtual Drives in your Computer. Now you can access your Favorite Folders as a drive in My Computer.
What you can do ?
** Access your folders as a Drive !
** Fool 'Computer Beginners' or your 'Friends' (Non-Expert) , as the drive will show Disk Space of the folder's drive so it seems that the disk space has increased !!!
Do The Follwing :
► Start >> Run
► Type cmd and hit Enter
► This will open "Command Prompt"
► Type subst Z: E:\folder and hit Enter key.
→ You can replace Z: with your desired New Drive Letter (Except existing Drive letters)!
→ You can replace E:\folder with the path of your favorite folder !
► Now, type exit
*** This creates a new drive ! When you open this , it will open your folder !!!
*** Isn't it Awesome ?

► Open Notepad
► Type :

subst Z: E:\folder
exit
► File >> Save As...
► Name it : Virtual Drive Emulator.bat
► Start >> All Programs
► Right Click on Startup >> Open
► This open the Startup folder
► Paste the Virtual Drive Emulator.bat file here !
*** That's all , now the drive will automatically be created when ever you start your pc

Keeping the Windows XP Core in the RAM

If you have 512 MB or more of RAM, you can increase system performance by having the Windows XP 'Core' kept in the RAM instead of paged on the hard disk.Go to Start -> Run - Type regedit and press enter - On the left hand side tree, navigate toHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager\Memory Management\- On the list on the right side, look for an entry called 'DisablePagingExecutive'- Double click it- Press 1 on your keyboard- Click OK- Exit regedit and reboot the computerTo revert to the default setting, follow the same steps as above, but this time, press 0(zero) instead of 1 on the keyboard.

Trick to Show ur name after time in taskbar...

Hi freinds !I m here to tell u a trick to add up ur name in place of AM and PM beside time and make urself to feel proud among ur group of frnds.Its simpleStart -> Control Pannel -> Regional and LAnguage option -> Customize (beside English US) -> Go to TIME tab -> Change AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to ur name -> Apply -> Ok ...IS it changed ??? Might be not ...Now go to time in taskbar and Double Click it to open "Date and time property" ...Look place where time chnges in digital form i.e. 02:47:52 AM , click to arrow to cnage the AM or PM by selecting and press arrow. It will Show ur name or name that was entered by u, Apply -> OK and be HAPPY 8)

Lock Your Folders !

You can lock and unlock your folders with this simple trick.

Procedure :

1. Make a folder on the desktop and name it as "folder"

2. Now, open notepad and write ren folder folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.

3. In the 'save as' name it as lock.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)

4. Now, again open notepad again and write ren folder.{21EC2020-3AEA-1069-A2DD-08002B30309D} folder and now (Notepad Menu) File>save as.

5. In the 'save as' name it as key.bat and click save ! (Save it on Desktop)

6. Now, double click lock.bat to lock the folder and now if you open your folder, control panel will open up !

7. Now, double click key.bat to open the folder and now if you open your folder, you can access your data inside the folder again !

8. Lock your folder and hide the key.bat somewhere else on your hard disk !

9. Whenever you want to open your folder just paste the key.bat on desktop and open your folder using it !

Open Active Folder in Command Prompt !

Working through cmd prompt is not easy with long paths and folder names.

This trick provides a solution !!!

What can be done :

** Command prompt can be added to 'Right Click Menu' of each folder.

** Clicking on this will open the folder in cmd prompt.

** Now, the files in that folder can easily be operated.

How to do it :

** Open any folder.

** Tools >> Folder Options...

** Change to File Types

** Select Folder from the list.

** Click Advanced button.

** Now, click New

** Type Command Prompt in Action

** Type cmd.exe in Application used to perform action:

** Now, click OK and Apply

That's All !!!

Now, Right Click any folder and click Command PromptAnd see what happens !!!

You need: Microsoft Word 97, 2000, or Word 2002
Do the following :
1. Word, select Tools, AutoCorrect. In the dialog box that appears, is the Replace text as you type box checked? If it isn't, check that box. Now you're ready to go.
2. Open a new document and type =rand().
3. Press Enter.
4. Watch the sequence of sentences appear, feel a chuckle coming on, and try to make sense of the repetitive text.
5. Experiment and change the amount of text by adding different digits, say, =rand(15,22) or =rand(50,50).
6.Watch the mysterious text appear again and feel more chuckles coming on.

2. Type Bill Ggates
3. Choose Help, Show the Office Assistant.
4. You need to get Rocky(The Dog).If you don't have Rocky as your default, right-click on the assistant icon, highlight Choose Assistant, and click Next until Rocky shows up. (You may need to insert your Office 2000 CD at this point.)
5. Run Word's spelling checker by clicking the ABC icon in the toolbar, and watch Rocky react to his boss's name.
6. If Rocky doesn't do something cute the first time, perform the spelling check a few times.

Windows 98 Credits With Music

Do the following :
1. Using your mouse, right-click an empty spot on your Windows desktop.
2. Select New, Shortcut.
3. Select Browse and find the C:\Windows\Application Data\Microsoft\Welcome folder.
4. Select Weldata.exe by double-clicking the file. The file name will appear at the end of your
shortcut's command line.
5. Click Next.
6. Click Finish to save your shortcut.
7. Right-click your newly created shortcut and select Properties.
8. Be careful: Click the Shortcut tab.
9. In the Target field, scroll to the end of the command line, (right after "...Weldata.exe"), add a space after the quotation mark, and then add this exact string of characters: You_are_a_real_rascal.
10. In the Run area, select Minimized.
11. Click OK to save your changes.
12. Back on the desktop, double-click the new shortcut.

4. Save the file as spy.html. Be sure to note the folder you saved the file in.
5. Load Internet Explorer, and choose File, Open and locate spy.html. The spreadsheet should appear in the middle of the page.
6. Scroll to row 2000, column WC. Select row 2000, and move the tab key until WC is the active column in that row.

HOW TO DOWNLOAD FROM TORRENT

1.Find a torrent program that will suit your needs,most commonly used is uTorrent
Follow the instructions on downloading and installing the said client.
Go to a torrent site and search for a file you want to download Some of the torrent sites are http://www.blogger.com/www.torrentz.com, http://www.blogger.com/www.isohunt.com, http://www.blogger.com/www.torrentpond.com.
4. Once you have found the desired file on the torrent site, click the "Download This Torrent" (or however they word it). Usually, the web browser's file download manager will ask what to do with this file. You want to open the file with your torrent program.
5. If it doesn't open that way, just save the .Torrent file to an easy to locate place. Then open your torrent client and use the "Open Torrent" feature.
6. The download will start automatically. You may now go and do something to pass the time, because torrents do not require much intervention on your part.
7. After the file is downloaded, leave it open in the program to share with other people who are also trying to get the same file out of respect. This way the P2P community stays alive.
Tips
If the download isn't complete when you need to turn the PC off, just exit your torrent client and turn off the PC. Most torrent programs start the download process automatically when you restart them. If not, then there should be an option to start downloading, by either right clicking on the file and choose "Start" or a button somewhere in the program.
There are other torrent clients (programs) that can be used, do research these also. The most popular torrent programs are uTorrent and Azureus.

Seeders: People who have file complete and are sharing.
